Growing Our Diverse Book Community

Help me give my students a variety of books that can help them process their emotions and books where the students can identify with the characters.

My Project

My students have loved my other books I have ordered previously that have characters that reflect their culture or feelings or experiences they have had in their lives. I want to continue to provide them with books that they identify with.

I think it is empowering for the students to have characters that look like them, feel like them, or experience the same things they do.

I also added some resources for me to be able to better educate my students, especially ones who struggle more with behaviors or processing things that I can not help with.
