it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first-grade students are curious, enthusiastic learners who are just beginning their journey as readers. To support their growth, I’m working to build a classroom library filled with engaging, age-appropriate books that reflect their reading levels, interests, and diverse backgrounds. This is my first classroom, so I don’t have a bunch of books to fill our bookshelf.
A well-stocked classroom library will give them daily opportunities to practice reading, explore new topics, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
With your support, I can provide a wide variety of books—fiction and nonfiction, early readers and chapter books—that will inspire confidence, curiosity, and joy in every child.
