This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students in my school come from low income families and many different cultural backgrounds, but when we come together they all have one goal- to read! My students love to read and write exciting stories. Having printable books and adequate digital materials will make all the difference for them during this challenging learning time

My students are curious, eager learners who love to work with technology to learn all subjects!

I know having the materials like access to digital materials for me to effectively create meaningful lessons will help my students have great success this year!

My Project

Remote learning is hard enough as it is! My class has been working so hard to adapt to the ever changing learning landscape. It’s amazing what they have accomplished in such a short time as second graders. Creating free digital materials has been a challenge. My project will provide my class with digital materials in all subject areas for my class. Also, printable books from Teachers Pay Teachers. Giving my class the opportunity to have printable books in their hands during this difficult year will help them further their reading skills dramatically
