My Project

This project will provide my Special Education students with a hands-on gardening experience designed to enhance their functional life skills. Through daily tasks like planting, watering, and garden care, they will develop responsibility, independence, and improve both motor and fine motor skills.

These gardening activities offer meaningful, structured learning that supports their growth and prepares them for future endeavors.

Gardening encourages focus, routine, and practical problem-solving—skills that are aligned with their transition plans and essential for life beyond the classroom. With the right tools and support, my students will not only grow plants but also strengthen the abilities they need to succeed in real-world settings.
