Growing Minds: Cultivating a School Garden for Hands-On Learning

Help me give my students a patio umbrella, garden arch trellis, potting soil, and other supplies to create an outdoor garden area for us to grow and thrive!

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Moss's classroom raised $303

This project is fully funded

My Project

Our school is dedicated to providing hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and foster a love for nature. We are seeking support to enhance our school garden area with essential gardening supplies, including garden tools, gardening stakes, soil, a garden umbrella, and a trellis. These materials will allow our students to engage in experiential learning, develop responsibility, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the environment.

What We Need:

To create a thriving garden space, we need:

Garden Tools (trowels, shovels, pruners, rakes) to help students plant and maintain the garden.

Gardening Stakes to support growing plants and ensure they thrive.

Soil to provide essential nutrients for healthy plant growth.

Garden Umbrella to offer shade and create a comfortable learning space outdoors.

Trellis to support climbing plants and maximize our garden space.

How This Will Help Our Students:

Our school garden will serve as an outdoor classroom where students can engage in science, math, and environmental studies in a real-world setting. By participating in the gardening process, students will:

Learn about plant life cycles, ecosystems, and sustainability.

Develop teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving skills.

Gain a sense of accomplishment as they watch their plants grow and flourish.

Experience the mental and physical benefits of outdoor activity and hands-on learning.

Why Your Support Matters:

Your donation will directly impact our students by providing them with the tools they need to cultivate a vibrant garden space. This project will foster a connection with nature, encourage healthy habits, and create an inspiring environment for learning. With your help, we can plant the seeds for a brighter, greener future!

Thank you for considering our project and for supporting hands-on education in our school!
