This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Growing mathematicians need to stay engaged to continue progressing in their math skills. These math manipulatives and games will keep my students engaged and learning. My students can be with me from kindergarten to third grade and year to year, I want to keep them engaged with their learning.
The skills in my classroom vary in grade and abilities so these manipulatives and games will support the range in my classroom.
While some students will be working on one-to-one correspondence using the dinosaur counters, another group will be working on their addition fluency using the power up cards. Another group will be playing the money game! Our room is filled with mathematicians growing in all areas! Thank you for considering a donation to this project.
