This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This is a great group of students. They have a drive to learn and do their best to perform given the current Zoom classroom. These kids are dying to get back into the classroom. They are thoughtful, insightful, and driven.
My Project
I hope to help grow our classroom library for when students return to school. I am a new teacher who inherited a classroom library and would love to add more books to it.
I want to be able to read these books to students in a read-aloud format and get students excited about reading at home.
I would also love to send home book bags for the students to get to enjoy reading at home.
Because we are a Title I school, many students would love to have the resources and books to bring home.
