Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are happy, resilient children attending a public school in California. They desire to achieve at the same level as students all over the country, but at times lack the necessary resources. They come from a variety of different backgrounds. I have students who are second-language learners, many different socio-economic backgrounds, students who are receiving special services, and students who excel in most academic areas.

My Project

I need resources to help me target the different skills my students need for additional practice they are performing low in. I currently have limited and not enough resources for 4th and 5th grade skills. My reading and math groups range from 1st to 5th grade levels. Your support will help students learn at their level and get closer to grade level expectations.

A Teachers Pay Teachers card will be used to purchase leveled reading materials and class novel study materials that target phonics, fluency and comprehension.

I will also need additional practice pages for the math, science, and social studies standards I am teaching.
