Growing into New Space: A Second Classroom for English Learners

My Project
As New York City has continued to welcome migrants and asylum seekers, our school has continued to receive new students every week. Our English New Language program has grown too big for our current space because our team now runs so many classes at various levels.
We need the basics to set up a second language learning classroom for our students!
We are grateful that our school has a classroom available, but there is no technology available in the room and the classroom needs some sprucing up since it hasn't been used for students in a while. This project will allow us to resurface one of the blackboards into a modern white board that will work with a projector so we can continue to lead classes with visual supports for the language learners. We have also included packs of bulletin board boarders in this project to get us started in brightening the space and making it a beautiful learning environment.
