My Project

Children should have hands-on learning experiences while learning about growing plants. With this hydroponic growing system kits and greenhouse kts, children will have the opportunity to see the entire process from start to finish as they watch their plants grow. They will also get the chance to eat the lettuce they produce, a true "from-seed-to-table" moment. Many children do not know how to raise a garden and it's important for children to see how so many farmers in their area produce, care for, and harvest their crops.

These important gardening supplies will give them the opportunity to see firsthand how growing their own garden is possible and it will be an experience they will remember for years.

We will also use the mini greenhouses to grow our own flowers. In class, we will learn about the life cycle of flowers. We will label the parts of a flower and read non-fiction text about types of flowers. Then, we will use the mini greenhouses to grow our flowers. We will compare flowers grown in the greenhouse versus those grown outside the greenhouse. We can measure their growth patterns, moisture levels, and the height of plants grown in different environments.
