Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This grant will allow us to beautify campus with new plant life of cultural significance to enhance the environment, create habitat, bring students closer to nature, and enrich their science and social studies courses. The existing area is cold and dull with little plant life and large empty concrete planters.
This project will build a closer connection between the student body and their campus and allow them to take pride and ownership of their learning spaces.
We all deserve a closer connection to nature in the urban environment and this grant will connect students to all the wonders of the natural world.
