Our school serves students in grades K-2. My class is unique, as I serve students with disabilities. The students are a joy to work with. My students need and deserve classroom supplies to help with their educational and social needs. All the students have their own individuality and are eager to learn and try new things. The items I have requested will help them to learn in their own way. It is very important to reach students where they are when they come to me, and my responsibility is to show growth by the end of the school year.
My Project
The materials listed in this project will make a difference in my student's learning by increasing literacy. My students love to pick up a book and read the pages, and look at all the beautiful illustrations.
There is nothing better than to put a book in your hand to look at and to read.
The students enjoy looking at the pages and asking questions, and talking with their classmates about what they saw. It is very important to have a classroom library to expose the students to different types of books such as biographies, Fiction, and non-fiction stories.
