My Students

The students in my class this year all love to read. They are interested when I am reading to them and they are engaged when they are reading by themselves or with a buddy.

The appreciation my class has for books and reading is amazing to see!

My classroom is full of very energetic, enthusiastic, and curious children. They all come from a variety of backgrounds (ethnic, social, religious, etc.). I want to be able to provide them with as many opportunities to read and engage with books as possible.

My Project

These books would make a difference in my students' learning because it would provide more (and NEW) books for my students to read in our classroom library. They LOVE when I show them the new books that I have or when I switch out our themed books.

My kids have the opportunity to read many times throughout the day and they choose to a lot of the time!

I have some kids who love to read new books every time they're in the library and I have others who like to stick to what they like and know. Being able to provide new books would mean a lot to my growing readers.
