The students will be learning about gardening, by observing various seeds and plants, while learning how to care for flowers and plants. Students will be part of the design process and using information such as plant height, to decide best location for plants and flowers.
My goal is to develop an appreciation for nature and gardening, while building students self esteem and in turn, compassion and empathy towards others.
Kindness rocks will be designed and placed in and around the garden for other children in the school to read and receive positive messages.
