My Project

I love how my students love to read in class. I want to foster their love of reading at home as well. This has gotten harder and harder to do over the last 20 years because of the internet and video games. The more books I can send home with my students the better, but that means the books don't always come back in the best condition and sometimes they don't come back at all.

With this project, I would increase the number of books in my classroom library as well as update my library to include more up-to-date books.

The more reading a kid does, the more the kid learns.
