My Students

Our elementary school is full of students who love to learn and explore. They live in a small mountain town in North Carolina.

My students are hard workers who want to succeed.

They love to learn together. We try to let each child know they belong and matter to all of us. Our classroom community strives to support each other in all we do. We work together to help every student grow and learn. Our school is in a high poverty, rural area that is two hours from any major city. We are a classroom full of students aiming to reach their highest potential.

My Project

My students do not have science textbooks. A subscription to Studies Weekly Science hand-held magazine and online subscription would be a great addition to our learning.

A subscription to Studies Weekly Science publications will help my students master science topics while also practicing their nonfiction reading skills.

The lessons included with Science weekly are engaging and exciting while providing real world examples. Students will have a paper copy of their magazine to read and take home as well as online components to use for practice and mastery.

Many of my students thrive when reading nonfiction, while others love the idea of reading magazines. This publication will make learning fun and enjoyable. Please help me provide my students with the best science materials possible.
