My Students

My students are outgoing, hardworking, motivated, and dedicated to education. They are from a small rural community that is like family.

Agriculture and Environmental Sciences are a large part of their everyday lives.

My agriculture science classes are a blend of students on different educational levels and age ranges. The majority of the student body is from lower-income families and are on the free or reduced-rate lunch program. They are hands-on learners that love to read, learn, question and explore.

My Project

Having an Areo Garden with pods in my classroom will truly help all of my students see the life stages of plants and how plant produce. These items will be used throughout the year for many of my classes.

Plant science and gardening is a great life skill to have and a full understanding of it is great for my students in their future.

I believe this will help them understand where their food come from. I will be able to teach hand on learning year round in my Classroom.
