This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first grade students need to have an inviting and nurturing environment that fosters growth and learning. One great way to create this atmosphere is through the visual set-up of the classroom and materials that get students to fall in love with reading.
A nurturing classroom is important for everyone who enters it, but it is most important for my students who spend most of their day in the classroom.
It is always my goal to make my classroom a home away from home. As we return to
school in August to start a fresh school year, I’d like to decorate my classroom with décor that matches our school’s theme sowing seeds of learning. The bulletin board bundle of materials will create an inviting and nurturing classroom.
