My Students
My school is a rural, Title I school, in Tennessee where poverty is high and experiences are limited. These students push every day to achieve high levels of academic excellence, and they work hard daily to achieve our rigorous expectations.
"Oh the Places You'll Go" is a theme in my room.
My expectations are that my students grow and make an effort to become a better student and friend.
I believe in my students and want to help them become better learners not just for preschool but for the years to come.
My Project
The materials I am requesting are to allow my students more options outside while on the playground. I am requesting 2 bicycles with helmets, a ball set, a baseball game, and a golf game. These activities will not only help students with gross motor play but will allow them to work on a variety of skills such as balance, pedaling, steering, kicking, hitting, and hand/eye coordination.
My students deserve a playground full of options that suit their interest.
I am hoping this project is funded so my students can be provided with activities that they may not be exposed to outside of the school setting. These gross motor play activities would help my students in so many ways.
