The items we are requesting will allow for the staff to rotate toys to promote different gross motor development and keep engagement.
Kids need ample opportunities to engage in many different activities during recess to help promote gross motor development, social emotional skills, and learn through play.
The balls will engage students in different gross motor but kicking, throwing, and dribbling. We are also requesting a hop scotch mat so we can practice throwing, hoping, jumping to enhance multiple gross motor muscles and coordination along with taking turns. The storage unit will help keep materials together on the playground as well as being able to cover it to keep others out of our stuff keeping it in excellent condition.
