My students are very special to me. I have 20 children with 8 having IEPs. They all want to learn and grow into intelligent students. They have the drive in them to learn, but without the resources needed to learn, it is impossible. My students are very smart and will work with what they have, but, their learning could be enhanced with the utilization of a Smart board. Technology is needed for most of my lessons and it will help me work on my professional growth initiative. The neighborhood is listed as the highest crime rated area in my city. We have 100% free lunch. The poverty level is high. My students are worth the sacrifice because they work hard and are determined to succeed.
My Project
I will use the Smart board in my lesson planning executing exercise and learning on a daily basis. This project will allow them the space to move around and do the movements properly for GoNoodle. The Smart board will also allow me to visualize lessons needed to enhance there educational abilities. The smart board will allow me to meet my professional goal, by incorporating technology in my classroom.
My students live in a low-income area of the city and need to be introduced to this type of technology.
The parents will be more secure with knowing that their child is not missing out on any opportunities to learn. Thank you for your consideration and your generous gift.
