I teach Elementary Physical Education in a Title I school to about 630 students. In addition, I teach 23 students with special needs who receive adaptive physical education. My school has a very diverse population but our loving community doesn't see any difference.
The best part of my job is the exciting look on my students faces as they enter my gym.
I try to introduce new topics or transform lessons to make my class a safe, positive, and educational environment.
My Project
The top question in my class is, "where's the music"? My students love to move to music in my class. I have an older sound system that is hard to hear and is not updated for new technology. This system would be perfect for my dance lessons as well as everyday warm ups, lessons, and start/stop signals.
With your donations to the Ion Audio Raptor, I will be able to play music and other devices in the gym and outside with the rechargeable battery.
My staff will also be able to use the sound system during assemblies in the gym.
