This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This summer, students will embark on an exciting hands-on journey into the world of botany and gardening. Through engaging activities, they will explore plant life cycles, sustainability, and the science behind plant growth. Students will design their own garden, conduct experiments on seed germination and learn how to create an environmentally friendly space that supports both plants and wildlife.

They will document their observations in journals, create garden-inspired art, and share their knowledge through a showcase.

This will also create excitement around a future garden space at our new school building!
