Green Is The New Color Of Art Recycle And Reuse!!!
My students need 4 sets of Shizen Decorative Paper, 35 charcoal pencils in black, 10 sketching pencils in white, 6 sets of watercolor pencils by Prisma, and 12 sets of recycled cards and envelopes by Greener Options.
My art class is going "GREEN". I am an art teacher of a fourth and fifth grade class in a high needs community, Title One School. We are a caring community and want to do something nice for the economy.
We've been saving up our pennies to donate to the elderly populations in our areas, and have been planning to go to one of the homes to visit during the holidays. We've been promoting this great cause with wonderful drawings, poems, and handed down recipes from grandparents. We want to stay green, and believe in using recycled paper and household objects every chance we get.
We would like to make special holiday cards for the elderly using recycled cards and envelopes, and decorative recycled paper. My students want to take care of our earth as well as the elderly that have no family.
You will make a difference in the lives of so many elderly people, as well as my students lives by helping to fund this project. This project is really important because it's a way for my students to learn how important it is to help by giving and showing compassion to our elderly, and also to protect our earth. If we had these recyclable paper and envelopes, the charcoal and white sketching pencils, the watercolored pencils and the decorative paper, we could make them holiday cards. We would also be saving the earth by using recycled paper. We would be helping the elderly people in our environment as well by showing them how we respect, honor and care for them in our community. Thank you for all of your support. Without donors like you, we would never get a chance.
