My Students

We are an active group of 4th grade learners. We consider ourselves a TEAM and an awesome community of learners! We are a brand new school where my students came from three other elementary schools in our community. We have over 650 students in K-5th grade.

Our school provides a safe and supportive environment for learning.

I have created a classroom environment where my students feel safe, enjoy learning and are active citizens of our community at our wonderful school.

My Project

In fourth grade, we practice several types of writing throughout the school year. We practice writing narrative, opinion and informational essays. My students sometimes use the same word several times in the same paragraph. When they get stumped thinking of another word with the same meaning, it will be awesome to direct them to use one of the 9 thesauruses I am requesting.

My students can spice their writing up a little with a thesaurus and add variety and power to their writing.

They love to write and use dictionaries frequently to check their spelling. These will add another layer to their becoming fabulous writers!
