Great New Books for Our School Library

My students need 12 new books including "Mercy Watson Thinks Like a Pig" and "The Kingdom of Fantasy" to support their love of reading.

My Students

Have you ever gotten lost in the library because there were just too many books to choose from? I want to be able to provide this for my students in our school library.

My students come from an urban area where books aren't prevalent in their homes.

The school is brand new, so the students enjoy coming here, we offer many programs and a fabulous facility to motivate the students to enjoy school. Some of the students are enthusiastic about reading and I want to make the library a space to encourage all students to enjoy reading new books.

My Project

I've selected a number of books that are related to the students' interests. This is a collection of books to inspire students to read for fun! What better way to read than to read for pleasure? I've added some books that I know the students enjoy now and I've added some new ones that will spark their interest in new characters and adventures.

My project is important because our library shelves are rather empty, we have over 400 students (grades K-7.

I want to be able to provide each student with books that will not only aid them in their classes but I also want to provide them with new books that will spark their imagination.
