Help me give my students books that show them the wonder of Shakespeare, coupled with children's books that ingeniously employ the markers of argumentation!

My Project
Help to bring some fun, inspirational, and classic literature to the hands of middle school students. This project is aimed at purchasing a class set of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet as well as a fun assortment of children's literature that all employ the fundamentals of argument.
These texts are a wonderful mixture of rigor and joy, adding both academic and playful elements to our class library and experience.
These books will allow students to read children's literature in search of author's claim, relevant and irrelevant evidence, counter arguments and rebuttals. In addition, Romeo and Juliet will expose our students to their first experience (and hopefully not their last!) with Shakespeare. We look forward to using these wonderful texts!
