My students and I work in a 43 year-old kitchen. It needs a lot of improvements as well as equipment. I teach high school culinary arts and I love it! We have a very old kitchen and not a lot of equipment and supplies for all of my students to work at the same time. My goal is to have enough equipment and supplies for all 25 of my students to work at the same time each period. We have some very old stand mixers that work but we can only make some batches of batters.
We need a commercial sized mixer in order to make larger batches of recipes that would be enough for the whole class to work at the same time making things such as pizza, cookie or muffin doughs.
My students are loving learning about baking and cooking but they need more equipment for us all to work at the same time. A commercial mixer will help us with making batters in much larger quantities. We don't only cook for our class, we also give back to the campus and community with local events. Please help me help my students with a mixer that will work better with our three culinary classes.
