My Project
We are asking for culinary equipment for our culinary and baking and pastry classes. With this project, we would be able to have enough equipment for the whole class to be able to work at the same time and have less wait time and more hands-on learning.
The students will be learning how to make and bake a variety of cookies from different parts of the world while they learn how to consistently scoop cookies.
Students will work together to make and assist each other as they learn the science of baking. The students will learn how to prep, mix, scoop, and bake cookies from around the world. Our class will begin to understand the properties of baking while they are given the freedom to design and create their own flavor combinations of cookies. We will be making icebox, drop, molded, rolled, and piped cookies. It is my hope that my students learn how to make cookies from different cultures. Nothing brings us all together like combining different food cultures. We will get opportunities to learn about different countries as we learn about cookies from different parts of our world.
The skills the students will learn will help them master baking at home or in the industry. With all the preservatives in our foods today, I want to teach my students how to make clean food with minimal ingredients. Please consider helping my students learn the skills in the science of baking.
