My Students

My students need to have great books in order to really learn to love reading.

My students live in a high-poverty area of Seattle.

The school doesn't have a great selection of interesting, cool books that will encourage kids to read. Interesting books is the key to unlocking reading and reading is the essential ingredient in future success!

My Project

These books are super cool! They are all books kids have asked for by title or author: The Rainbow Fairies are really popular, as are Captain Underpants and the Secrets of Droon. Kids love these books! They are also books that are easy to read for those struggling readers, with the added bonus of being really awesome!

You can help me make a huge difference in the lives of these children!

Reading is so important to their future academic success, AND their future life success. The donation of cool books will impact these kids for the rest of their lives!
