My Students

My classroom consists of students with various reading abilities. In order to differentiate to meet this challenge, we need supplies of reading material at various levels. Due to our school being a Title I school, many students face disadvantages in learning. Approximately three-fourths of our student receive free or reduced-price lunch.

All of my students enjoy doing hands-on activities, especially those that are related to science.

They enjoy doing interactive notebook activities as well. Reading and math interactive activities also inspire them to make great effort.

My Project

Starting the school year is the basis for how the remainder of the school year will go. Having access to school supplies such as pencils and filler paper will enable students to have writing tools available when creating essays and stories.

Pencils and paper being readily available will spark an interest to write for pleasure, which will strengthen their writing skills.

Many students enjoy the opportunity to write about their interests. Reading comprehension skill builders will enable students to see topics of interest, thus furthering their desire to write as well as read.
