This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach an awesome second-grade class in a California Title I elementary school. My energetic second graders are thoughtful and full of questions about the world! Curious, fearless and creative; my students love to be challenged with hands-on learning and technology-based lessons!

I love to see the enthusiasm and joy they bring to the classroom each day.

My students LOVE learning through technology as it satisfies their need for engagement in this 21st-century​ world in which we live.

My Project

All of these materials such as the marker pens, crayons, and pencil boxes will help kick the school year off right, as I have my students store their materials in the boxes to have a clean and comfortable classroom. My students learn best through hands-on learning, and many of my lessons include students using their own whiteboard marker to draw, and answer questions for a fun and engaging learning strategy!

Last year I was not able to afford to have a listening center in my classroom, but hopefully, with your help, student success in reading will soar with the help of a listening center.
