Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Making art can drastically improve my kid's fine motor skills and enhance their creative problem-solving abilities. Activities like painting, gluing different materials and drawing can help my kids develop better coordination and dexterity while threading beads and sculpting clay can improve visual-spatial skills. Over time, at the end of this school year my kids will better academic outcomes for other subjects including writing, literacy, mathematics, and science. In fact, I believe that if my kids regularly engage in artistic activities will be more likely to be recognized for academic achievement!
