Help me give my students the game Gravity Maze to challenge their knowledge of gravity, physics, and problem-solving.

My Project
Gamification is a research-based teaching strategy that involves incorporating traditional gaming elements in the classroom. In a gamified activity, students complete challenges that become increasingly more difficult. Students explore and practice content that leads to self-challenge and intrinsic learning. Success comes from how the learning journey is tailored to all learning levels.
Combining game mechanics with intentional exploration of aligned content will result in students participating willingly.
Activities can be completed individually or in teams depending on students’ comfort levels. Gravity Maze, a 2017 Toy of the Year Award winner in the Specialty Category, will challenge my students will all these education approaches.
Gravity Maze will introduce the gamification process and switch my STEM students’ thinking from immediate perfection to overcoming failure by making multiple attempts to solve a problem. These games will be given to my students on the first day of the STEM semester class, and students will be challenged to follow directions and find the solution using basic physics learned in 7th grade, logical thinking, collaboration, communication, spatial reasoning and planning skills.
Specific outcome expected
1. Students will challenge themselves to continue solving a problem until they succeed
2. Students will learn from failure to find success (and hopefully giggle along the way)
3. Students will create new challenges using the concepts learned
4. Students will combine 21st Century Skills (communication, collaboration, flexibility, and initiative) to solve a problem that will prepare them for the rest of the project challenges that they will experience in STEM class.
5. Students will transfer this new way of learning to other projects throughout the semester.
My students are very timid when coming into STEM class, but they are very confident and proud of their accomplishments when they leave!
