Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students have brought the idea to me to create gratitude gifts for staff and support members in our district. Their ideas do have a broad range of subject matters and materials. We can start this project with some in house items but so many of the concepts required more materials listed here.
I was thrilled to hear students stating their appreciation for members of the staff.
Their goals was to create cards, sculptures, signs, decorated shapes that would hold their thoughts and words. While we encourage these kind of acknowledgements, this project is student generated.
