This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle school 6-8 math and Algebra I students are hungry for knowledge and will use the graphing tools and supplies to better understand their math concepts.

Bridging abstract and concrete math with visual aids, especially in graphing on the coordinate plane and graph paper will help students.

Students love writing on the writing boards and graphing is difficult when graph paper is not readily available. The large magnetic coordinate planes and graph paper will make it easier and faster for the teacher to model Distributive properties with area models and the mass graphing that takes place in Algebra I.
