Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recent events have affected both our returning students at Kekaulike and displaced transfer students. Multiple fires broke out on the island of Maui the day before our school was set to welcome freshmen to campus. A fire did reach our campus' property line and our school delayed opening for an additional week in order to clean debris from the high winds and clean our classrooms from smoke damage. My students will benefit greatly with these items.

My Algebra 2 and Geometry students will benefit from the whiteboard magnetic graphs with their groupwork.

All students will be happier with readily available snacks and prizes.
