Do you remember the anxiety you felt when you were learning Pre-Algebra? My goal is to make the stress and anxiety of math less intimidating for my students, maybe even fun!

Our students are eager to learn and they want to be successful. I want to make learning math easy for everyone. Students should feel like they have the resources to succeed. Pre-Algebra is intimidating, and with your help, we can make every student successful!
My Project
Students need to learn how to make sense of the equation: y=mx+b. My goal is to provide manipulatives to make graphing lines on a coordinate plane less intimidating. The dry erase boards have the XY axis preprinted. The sticky notes also have the XY axis preprinted.
This takes the chore of drawing the coordinate plane out of the equation!
Students only need to worry about where to plot the points and draw the line, which is more than enough work! Students will also be able to reference the graffiti posters for new vocabulary and a visual to help remember these new words!
