Help me give my students magnetic dry erase coordinate grids so they can make abstract concepts like Algebra more concrete.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Gao's classroom raised $955
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students are tired of the same procedure in each class, each day. I am trying to get my students up and engaged in their learning. Having students work together at dry-erase boards on the wall will help me do that. Students will need coordinate grids to practice on when we tie-in visual representations.
Having reusable coordinate grids will help students feel confident when they make mistakes and inspire them to be creative because they can easily make mistakes and fix them.
Students will be able to make concepts like algebra more concrete by graphing equations and seeing relationships among functions which will help them in their mathematics careers.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
