My Students

My students are rural, hardworking kids who need access to individual technology. They challenge themselves with college-bound coursework and strive to meet high expectations. They work together to accomplish great things but just need a bit of a helping hand.

My Project

My students have access to a few graphing calculators, although some are outdated. Having 5 new calculators will allow more students to work hands-on with graphing and data collection. Students will be able to check out these calculators to use at home or even during ACT/SAT testing.

Many of my rural students simply do not have the financial means to purchase their own graphing calculator while in high school.

These rural students will be able to use this updated calculator while they are in high school and will get comfortable with the functions before they choose to purchase their own for college.
