This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a co-taught sophomore English class with students who are extremely low in their reading, comprehension, and writing abilities. With the curriculum that we are doing this year, Shakespeare's "MacBeth" is what we are reading. I want to expose my special education students to Shakespeare, but want to present it to them in a way that they will be excited to read it.
One of the things my kids like to read is graphic novels, and I know they would be excited to rad Shakespeare this way.
