My students need 15 nonfiction graphic novels, including "Max Axiom" titles.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Dechon's classroom raised $258
This project is fully funded
We are a high-needs, rural school, but most of my students are successful in science and look forward to continuing their fields of study in college. I am fortunate enough to teach several courses in which I see many of the same students as they move from ninth grade all the way to twelfth. These courses include Biology, Physics, and Forensics.
Some of my students are reluctant to read their texts and have a difficult time understanding some of the more abstract concepts we study in class.
These graphic novels all explore topics that we study in class and present them in a visual way that is very appealing to teenagers. My students will use these graphic novels to supplement their learning in class.
Your help will ensure that my students have a deep understanding of fundamental concepts they will need as they enter their college science courses.
