My Project

Every year I look for new ways to help inspire my students to develop an interest in and a love for reading. Reading opens all doorways for students to become life long learners and is an essential skill for them to develop, however many young students are reluctant to read. Providing high quality and interesting books can help reluctant readers to find joy in reading which may prompt them to read more in the future. Over the past few years as an educator I have noticed that students are more engaged with graphic novels so I am looking for resources to add to my class. I have tried to pick a variety of fiction and nonfiction stories to appeal to a broad range of my students.
