Graphic Novels to Reward Behavior

My Project

Our students are using graphic novels to engage in reading - they are learning higher vocabulary, story elements, and gaining reading exposure as they read about their favorite characters in each new adventure.

Students love seeing their favorite characters come to life on the big screen and with Minecraft and Pokemon having stories in movies and television, our students are connecting more and more with these characters in stories.

Students are reading about characters from video games, trading cards and movies to see what their next adventure will be as they keep finding new and exciting ways to explore the world around them.

These students work hard in school, and we are delighted to give them the ability to pick a book to keep at home and share with their families. Thank you for supporting us to do this.
