This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to add graphic novels to my classroom library. They help students visualize what is happening in a text. Visuals are a great way the help English Language Learners understand what they are reading. It is hard for students who find reading hard to find a book they like because they struggle to finish a book.
I believe that adding graphic novels to my classroom library will inspire students to read more and encourage the love of reading.
Please help my students by donating to our project. I hope that students will find a book that inspires them to read while having fun. I have chosen books that are diverse to reflect the diversity in my students.
