My Project

My fourth grade students love reading! They can't read enough. But our school library limits the amounts of books that students can check out at one time, and that includes the graphic novels.

Graphic novels have become a BIG THING in school!

I want my students to start exploring this new way to read, and to get excited about new topics!

My project is to start including more graphic novels in my classroom setting, so that students have more choices than what is offered in our school library. If I can grab new readers with graphic novels, then I am hoping that this is an appropriate way to get them hooked on reading more books in the future!
