My Project

My students love to read and engage with all kinds of stories. As they learn English, independent reading is a key to their success.

Graphic novels give MLLs the visual support they need to improve their literacy skills while enjoying high-interest texts.

Our classroom library needs updated texts and books that appeal to today's teens. This selection of graphic novels would provide a selection of many genres for my diverse students. Included are stories about people from different cultures and different interests.

The joy of reading is the best way to improve literacy!
