This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each day our students come into the library ready to read! They are excited about books and the characters authors write for them and are always asking if we have any new graphic novels. Students often make recommendations to each other and share their favorites.

These graphic novels will be used for a take-home literacy project called a Free Book Fair.

We will set up a book fair for students to choose the books they want to add to their home library. Students will be freed of the burden of using their own funding from home. The books will be given to them.
