My students need acrylic paint to stock our Graphic Arts Makerspace. They work throughout the year in large art format and paint is great demand.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Most of my students have English as their second language or come from homes that speak a language other than English exclusively.

They are bright and creative young kids with brilliant design ideas and have benefitted from the recently created Makerspaces, which include Textile, Graphic Arts, Computer and Engineering Makerspaces.

The Makerspaces we started range from a Textile Makerspace, where we handmade over 50 dresses for the Little Dresses for Africa effort and our Graphic Arts Makerspace has been the source of our Bookfair advertising.

My Project

Working with ESL and ELL students gives me the opportunity to go beyond the language barrier and foster expression in students through advertising in large format artwork.

The paint we are requesting is a finite, yet major component to our Graphic Art Makerspace.

The Blickrylic Student Acrylics - Basic and Mixing Color Sets are the materials my students need to bring their ideas to fruition in large art format.

Replenishing our supply of paint would make the difference in the quality and quantity of large art produced in school year 2018-2019.

Our students relish the freedom of expression this gift would offer. The talent among our scholars is great and having the opportunity to manifest it in large format art would be golden!
