Graham's Land of Fossils

Help me give my students one heck of an activity they won't forget. We are studying fossils and I would like them to explore through fossil digging.

My Project

My students are 8th graders who love hands-on activities that connect to the content of what they are learning. Hands-on activities get them thoroughly engaged and in tune with their learning. Their productivity piques as well as their curiosity. It helps others buy into the activity and topic at hand. This heightens their academic conversation. Their last couple of hands-on activities were based on genetics. It allowed them to paint a better understanding of proteins and mutations.

Based on the way they were engaged with the previous hands-on activity, I can only imagine what the fossil excavation will do for them.
